Services & prices
One simple price: £35 an hour, for homes and small businesses alike. I will give you my best estimate before I start, but I cannot always know how long a job will take. Some problems turn out to be bigger than they look.
Homes
£35 per hour
- I come to your home
- Charged by the hour, with no long contract
- Written notes if you would like them
Small businesses
£35 per hour
- I come to your workplace
- The same price as for homes
- Invoice provided
If a job runs longer than expected
- If it looks like taking longer than my estimate, I will stop and check with you before carrying on.
- Some faults, such as a TV service or broadband that will not connect, are caused by the provider and not by your equipment. If I think that is the case, I will tell you early so you are not paying for time that will not fix it.
Weekends and out of hours
My usual hours are Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm. Weekend or evening visits are possible by arrangement, at a higher price. Ring me to ask.
How I take payment
- I give or send you an invoice after the visit. Payment is normally by bank transfer, and cash is fine too.
- My payment details are always on the invoice. If they ever change, the new details will be on the invoice too.
- I will never email you asking you to pay a PayPal invoice or a payment link. If anything like that arrives and says it is from me, do not pay it. Ring me on 07746 655324 first.

Travel
Inside the lighter circle there is no travel charge. In the darker outer ring there is a flat £10 travel charge per visit, on top of the hourly price.
- Inner area, up to 10 miles: £35 an hour, no travel charge
- Outer area, 10 to 20 miles: £35 an hour plus £10 travel per visit
Distances are in a straight line from Banbury, drawn to scale. Further away than the map? I can travel for a mileage charge, agreed with you before we book.

- A slow computer cleaned up and updated
- A new laptop set up, with your files moved across
- Wi-Fi checked and improved at home
Half a day
£140 about 4 hours
- Several devices at once, such as Wi-Fi, TV and printer
- A big clean-up of an old computer
- Email, photos and backups set up on everything you own
A full day
£245 about 7 hours
- A hacked email or online account, with the computer cleaned and secured
- Help getting in touch with your bank or card provider
- A small business's Wi-Fi, computers and printers set up in one visit
All at £35 an hour. If someone has been scammed, I can help you secure your accounts and report it quickly, but I cannot promise that lost money will be recovered.
