Privacy

Short version: I collect very little, I do not track you, and I never sell your details.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.

If you send a message

The contact form asks for your name, email, town and message, and optionally a phone number. It is sent through a service called Web3Forms, which passes it to me by email. I use it only to reply to you and to arrange any visit. If your message does not lead to a visit, I keep it for 12 months and then delete it. If you become a customer, I keep your name, contact details and invoice for as long as the law requires for business and tax records, which is usually around six years.

If you book a visit

When you choose a visit length on the Book a visit page, you go to a booking calendar provided by Cal.com, which opens in a new tab. Nothing from Cal.com loads on this site until you choose. Cal.com receives the details you enter and may set its own cookies, and its privacy policy applies to that part. You can avoid it by phoning me instead.

Buy me a coffee

Pages in the Tips section have a link to my Ko-fi page, if you would like to say thank you. Ko-fi is a separate website with its own privacy policy, and it may set its own cookies. Nothing from Ko-fi loads on this site until you click the link. If you do give, Ko-fi and PayPal handle the payment. I do not see your card details.

Links to other sites

Links to Google reviews and Frapply Studios take you to other websites with their own policies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you at any time, by emailing hello@techmadesimple.uk. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab).
